World Book Day | Bring a Book, Buy a Book
Happy World Book Day! Bookshops, libraries, schools, organisations, writers and readers are celebrating around the country today (and throughout March) with all sorts of shenanigans including Bring a Book, Buy a Book.
St. Michael’s House are running a Bring a Book, Buy a Book Campaign in association with Children’s Books Ireland, World Book Day and the Dublin Book Festival.
The campaign encourages people to visit participating locations and to donate a book(s) as well as buy some! All of the funds raised will go directly to St. Michael’s House, to help provide services to children and adults with an intellectual disability.
If you can’t make it to a Bring a Book, Buy a Book spot – never fear – you can get involved using your phone! You can make a virtual book donation, by texting SMH to 57502. (Text cost €2 plus standard rate SMS.)
